We are flying into La Guardia on Friday afternoon and would have space for someone. Email me at mica@micagraves.com
There is also a train that leaves about every hour from Grand Central, NYC to Wassaic, NY -- and that's about a 45minute drive from Yelping Hill. So it's possible in a pinch that someone on YH could come pick you up if ride sharing doesn't work out. We'll be sending out info about the train, etc soon.
I tried to post this before, but it seems not to have worked. If Ben's friend is still looking for a ride from Boston, and would be willing to bus down to Providence (45min-1hr) we could drive him. He has to be able to handle noisy little boys, though!

Hi! anyone still got room for two driving from NYC on Friday? Our car fell through and would like to get a ride- if not then we'll have to rent a car- just don't want to use all that gas for two people! or anyone who is interested in car sharing? we can gather four to five people and rent a car driving up together. let us know!

Judy, You may want to to take the train (MTA out of Grand Central, which is always a pleasure) to Wassaic. Sharon Auto Rent (860.364.5432) will meet you at the station if you arrive before 5 on Friday. They drive you back to their office in Sharon for paperwork--but this is on the way to West Cornwall. It may be too late for their cheapest cars, but those are $20 a day.
There is also a taxi service in Lakeville. Pricey to go all the way to Yelping Hill (around $60) from the train station, but if others are on your train, not so bad.
If you go up early on Friday, I may be one of those hoping to share the ride; let me know. Ditto if you have any questions.
